With a focus on sustainability, Terra Spatial creates new builds and retrofits existing buildings to be more beautiful, ecological, functional, and adaptable and to achieve resiliency against floods and bushfire when required.

Salli Prendergast is the design director of Terra Spatial, a building and landscape design studio that has created high quality, sustainable design for residential projects in northern NSW since 1999.

Through collaboration with clients, consultants and with a sensitivity to the site, Salli believes that design can create a greater well-being for the inhabitants and their environment.

  • 1. connect

    You have an idea for a project or a problem to solve?  We meet and define a client brief together which details exactly what you want to achieve, your budget and the scope of our work.  A thorough analysis of the site and the feasibility of the project is also undertaken.

  • 2. create

    The design phase starts with initial sketches, exploring the possibilities, creating a space that is meaningful to you and progressing to more detailed drawings and specifications.

  • 3. collaborate

    The developed design documents then form the basis for liaising with a team of technical experts such as engineers, achieving council approval and obtaining construction quotes.  If required, we can also work through the delivery of the project to its built form, guiding and advocating for you every step of the way to ensure your house or garden is finished in a timely manner and on budget.
